F.I.T. Money Magazine
Financial Magazine Helps Entrepreneurs Get F.I.T. for Business Success It began as a Facebook group created by Natasha Reid to help people understand what financial freedom means and when it comes. A bi-weekly mailing shared with the Facebook community explained that financial freedom comes “when you decide your want to be financially free.” This online financial.empowerment soon became a monthly newsletter and shortly thereafter morphed into F.I.T Money Magazine.
Reid says F.I.T. is an acronym for Financially Independent Today for the 21st century and beyond.
“Our goal is to help entrepreneurs understand the true meaning of wealth,” says Reid. “Wealth is generational and it doesn’t happen overnight. We can receive the fruits of our labor and pass that legacy on to our families.”
It is imperative, according to Reid, for small business owners and entrepreneurs to become financially fit so they understand economic cycles and are prepared for economic ups and downs.
F.I.T. Money Magazine is an online publication. While the magazine is published quarterly, FitMoneyMagazine.com features articles, answers to common financial questions, commentaries and more for daily consumption.
In 2010, entrepreneurs can look forward to the launch of the F.I.T. Money Education series.
“Through our partners, like the U.S. Census Bureau and WeHarlem.com, we’ll help business owners explore and discover new ways to reach out to their clients, keep them engaged and create a business model that fits the 21st century,” Reid explains.
When asked how business owners dealing with today’s economy can claim or maintain their FITness, Reid responds with practical, common since advice. She encourages business owners to call their customers, send postcards, email or text and asking them what service or product they would like to see you provide. Engage them to encourage customer loyalty. Know who your competition is and what they’re doing that you can improve upon. Finally, constantly hone your craft. We are all in the service industry so there is always something we can learn to grow and expand ourselves and hence our business.
